LOCAL CYCLE AND ZERO-WASTE CUISINE
Active Contribution to the Local Economy: We meticulously calculate to reduce our carbon footprint and prioritize local sourcing for food supplies. Our chefs procure ingredients directly from Yalıkavak Market and only from regional producers, guaranteeing freshness while actively contributing to the local economy.
The Rebirth of Aegean Cuisine: Over 80% of our menu is prepared using products and traditional cooking techniques from the Muğla and Aegean Region. We merge traditional flavors with luxurious presentation. Our special sorbet made from Bodrum tangerines, Keşkek traditionally pounded for hours, and Milas pastry are presented with a modern interpretation.
Zero-Waste Initiative Ruins Mama: We strive to eliminate food waste in our kitchen operations. With our innovative 'Ruins Mama' project, cooking by products (such as bone meal) are ground, recycled, and transformed into nutritious crackers for our animal friends.
LIVING HERITAGE AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Cultural Heritage Preservation: As a testament to our respect for livinghistory, we support the introduction of the ancient city of Stratonikeia tourism through our contributions.
As of the 2026 season, we will offer guided tours for our guests, creating an opportunity to experience the deep-rooted history of the Aegean first hand.
Social and Animal Welfare Commitment: Ruins Luxury Resort fulfills its commitment to the welfare of our animal friends in the region; this includes pioneering and supporting the construction of an Animal Shelter. We regularly support shelters and actively encourage animal adoption and awareness activities. Furthermore, we sustain our mission to invest in the community through donations to organizations like TEMA and university scholarship programs.
